Welcome to the world of bears. Immerse yourself in the tales, legends and perceptions which have been shaped over centuries…

Thanks to this exhibition, visitors will come face to face with the work carried out by scientific researchers. Visitors can also slip into a bear skin, find out about how bears live and what they eat, and even enter a bear’s den. An exhibition to experience, most notably through a range of educational tools and hands-on activities, offering families several interactive features.

“Bears: Myths and Realities” was awarded the prestigious “Exhibition of National Interest” label for 2013 by the French Ministry of Culture.

VISITOR INTERPRETATION KIT

The exhibition comes with a full visitor interpretation kit including supplies for the “general public”, school visitors and disabled visitors. It also includes casts, accessories and items to handle.

The kit was put together by the Visitor Interpretation and Accessibility Department at the Toulouse Natural History Museum.
