They tell us how the diversity of shapes, materials and colours that shape our planet comes about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em><strong>More than 4,500 subsoil minerals have now been catalogued. The Earth is alive. Without biodiversity, the planet would be unliveable, neither for the human race and for a large part of the living world.
